April 2024: AmiKit 12.5 (25MB) - SPRING UPDATE brings exciting news: WiFiPi driver for your super fast Amiga networking experience!

Amiga enthusiasts, rejoice! We're thrilled to announce a groundbreaking addition to the AmiKit "Spring Update" that's set to transform the way you experience networking on your Amiga. The WiFiPi driver is a game-changer, that harnesses the power of the Raspberry Pi's internal Wi-Fi module, rendering all those Amiga network cards obsolete in one fell swoop! Connecting your Amiga to Wi-Fi is now quick and easy, offering faster internet speeds than before.
NOTE: if for some reason you cannot download this update using the standard Amiga network card, you can always get the WiFiPi driver for AmiKit from here.

  


This update also introduces several other notable improvements, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all users.
And that's not all! The Spring Update also includes a number of other enhancements, fixes, and surprises aimed at enhancing your overall Amiga experience.

January 2024: AmiKit 12.4 (17MB) - WINTER UPDATE

To keep your experience sparkling, we've updated the essential apps in AmiKit for you including Emu68. Enjoy.
IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO BACKUP YOUR CARD BEFORE UPDATING, for example with the following tool: USB Image Tool

We've also added EmuControl GUI launched from "Accessories > PiStorm" right-click menu.
You can, for instance, enable DBF and/or BW there to get more compatibility with many old games and demos.
For enabling those (and other options) on boot instead, add them to BOOT:config.txt:

SC           - Slows all code executed from CHIP down by adding explicit opcode reads
SCS=n     - Sets spacing to the SC option described above, to let only n-th instruction read its opcode
DBF         - Slows DBF busy loops down
BW          - Waits until blitter completes before writing to certain chipset registers
ICNT=n   - Sets maximal number of m68k instructions generated per translation unit to n (1..256)
CCRD=n  - Sets the scan length of condition code flags optimizer to n instructions in advance (0..31)
IRNG=n   - Sets inlining range to value n (0..65535)

For example, for "State of the Art" demo add DBF ICNT=1 CCRD=0

October 2023: AmiKit 12.2.0 - BIG RELEASE FOR REAL AMIGA EQUIPPED WITH A PISTORM CARD

After almost a year of hard work, AmiKit for PiStorm has been released at Amiga38 Germany. The physical product comes pre-installed with a 32GB or 64GB microSD card in a very special branded case. Only limited number of units are available.
