| | Description | Fixes and changes:
1) Spike fix: once the player completes the pyramid, the game restarts, but adds extra spikes to make navigation harder. One of these spikes is added on top of a ladder, which makes it impossible to finish the game a second time. This has been fixed by removing that spike.
 Original release: end of the line for Tom  No more spikes here! Tom can continue
2) NTSC fix: the game now runs on both PAL and NTSC!
3) Raster fix: there were some small problems with the raster at the point where the game switches from the top status area to the game area. All of these have been fixed.
4) Sync fix: the game wrote to $FF1D in a way that "skipped" some rasterlines. This caused an issue on some monitors and has been fixed.
5) Startup clear fix: when the game first appears, the screen is clear (the remnants of the initialization code used to be visible).
6) JiffyDOS fix: during initialization the game called two ROM routines which caused it to crash on JiffyDOS equipped machines. This was fixed.
7) Tom appearing change: when Tom first appears, it's no longer the "flashing" version, but the full figure (which, in our humble opinion looks nicer).
Cheats:
1) Unlimited lives: simple!
2) Auto open doors: all doors will automatically open, regardless of whether you have any keys. This makes navigating the pyramid a bit faster.
3) Remove monsters: This removes all moving monsters.
4) Remove fish: those small 2x1 character sized running monsters.
5) Remove lasers: self-explanatory.
6) Invulnerability: the ultimate cheat, nothing hurts Tom. All you have to do is navigate the pyramid, which is still no easy task!
We hope that some combination of cheats 3-5 will give players unique experiences.
Extras:
1) Run/Stop key can be used as a suicide. This is intended for the invulnerability cheat, Tom can fall down some places with no exit and get stuck.
2) That one platform. First, the color of this platform has been restored from the early version. However, we also wanted to include a "fixed" version of it. There's an undocumented (due to lack of memory) "cheat" in the intro. If you press "P" (for platform), the fixed version of the platform will appear in the game. This is purely a visual change, it should not affect the gameplay.
